Just to say I've seen bobbys on the beat every few weeks since a spate of burglerys last year. They may/ not be more frequent but I'm not home consistently. Admittedly mainly day time but I had a chat with one and he was very keen to catch the folk and people to report quite innocuous things to facilitate this.

So even if they've gone they can have a drive around. They frequently have a good idea who they are looking for and it's unlikely they would have got far

I seem to recall someone posting on here about a person dressed as a Virgin contractor peering through his/ her window then becoming really aggressive when confronted.

Might be nothing but there was a suspcious man on a bike on Melbourne Grove shining a powerful torch at front doors.

Thanks Ace77, was that on 15th? There was an attempted burglary that night on Colwell Road, just off Melbourne Grove - might be connected. Any further details/description of the man with the torch would be much appreciated.
