Hello East Dulwich!

I coordinate a group for a charity called free cakes for kids, I have lots of willing bakers (although if there are any more out there we wont say no!) but a bit of a struggle in promoting the charity in this area. I've contacted local food banks etc but wanted to ask if anyone had any ideas or other contact details for any less known refuges, food banks or community groups where I can advertise this great charity?

How about at Sure Start centres? Good luck. I have a friend in Croydon who is involved and I think it's such a lovely idea.

The asylum centre at the top of Barry Road, women's refuges....what a fantastic idea...will keep you in mind if I think of any others....oh the Salvation Army opposite Denmark Hill Station?

Have you tried the Southwark Young carers support group- they might be able to refer children they work with?

I've just begun baking so happy to do whatever you need! I don't have kids but am very happy making other kids happy... and my cakes don't taste half bad ;)
