mynamehere
We like to turn local people's ideas into reality! If you live or work in Southwark, you can apply for changes that you would like to see in your area. From something as small as planting bulbs in a park or a housing estate, to larger projects such as replacing an old playground, or safety measures like lighting or pedestrian crossings - it's up to you!For the past eleven years the CGS programme has funded only capital projects such as creating new and refurbishing existing ball courts, installing new railings and fencing, and improving lighting. Now, with the addition of the CGS Revenue fund, projects such as extra street cleaning, gardening courses for residents and other maintenance type projects, will also be considered for funding. Groups that can deliver a project themselves can be considered for a grant.Applications for both CGS capital and revenue can be made using the same form, and successful applications will be allocated to the appropriate fund by council officers. For information about some completed projects in your area, please choose your area from the list on the left. The closing date for applications for this year's programme is Friday 8 November 2013. Decisions on the applications will be announced at community council meetings in January and February 2014. Applicants will be notified by letter after this.https://forms.southwark.gov.uk/MySouthwarkRegister.asp Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/38266-cleaner-greener-safer-application-deadline-today/#findComment-694403 Share on other sites
Renata Hamvas
Thanks mynamehere!Hi Flower, I've checked the link and it's working from my computer. You do not need to do detailed costings as council officers will do that, so don't worry if you are no sure how much it will cost to implement your ideas.Renata Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/38266-cleaner-greener-safer-application-deadline-today/#findComment-694420 Share on other sites
