Hi All,

The season is finally upon us and after the first door of those advents are opened tomorrow why not come along to the Heber School Christmas Fair - there's so much for you to enjoy!

* Visit Santa in his grotto - have you been good this year?

* Take part in some lovely craft activities including making a bauble, spin painting and decorate your Christmas biscuits!

* Pick up some lovely Christmas presents at our pop up shopping emporium, traders include unique T-shirts and bags; gorgeous cotton bunting; fine silver prints and jewellery; homemade jams and jellies; products from Neal's Yard; beautiful children's clothes (dresses, hats scarves etc) and more!

* Games rooms, try your hand at Wheel of Fortune, Lucky Plucky Turkey, Santa's secret stockings, Teddy Tombola and much more!

* All this shopping, craft activities and games will make you hungry - don't worry we have sausages on the grill, homemade cakes, candy floss and a Fair Trade Columbian coffee bar (you can purchase coffee to take home too!) as well as mulled cider doing the rounds!

* This year's Raffle has fantastic prizes, generously donated by many lovely local businesses and parents of Heber kids - you can buy tickets on the day, you have to be in it to win it!

* Fair favourites, including jolly jam jars, nearly new book stall, face painting, nail, hair and tattoo bar.

* Stand alone Raffle to win a trip to Goodwood in an exotic 1965 Cabriolet - this beautiful car will be on show on the day for all your admiration!

    • You can get a card at the till, though, to get the discount. You don't have to carry it with you (or load it onto your phone), you can just get a different card each time. Not sure what happens if they notice 🤣
    • Yes..that may be the case but membership STARTING at £115 a month is still unafforable for many. Council gyms also have a large range of equipment and I had a  PT at Dulwich leisure centre when I was in Full Time employment who was incredible and even kept in contact during lockdown giving me a program I could do at home and checking in weekly at no charge or personal gain for herself. I dont doubt that Fit For may be a good gym (Its been in situ long enough so must be doing something right) However the cost of membership means it is affordable for the few not the many. If I could afford that kind of fee I would rather get a train to Canary Wharf and go to Virgin active where theres a pool and incredible classes and facilities
    • This sounds great 👍
    • We found a red TREK bike yesterday that had clearly been stolen and dumped. Would love to reunite it with its owner. Get in touch if you know whose it is.
