Italian restaurant on Lordship Lane?!

in march and july you wanted to know takeaway option on the lane?

now you want to know italian?

do you ever walk down the lane with your eyes open?

or ever read the forum? people have been talking about these things you know

or are you unable to do anything proactive - you just throw questions out to the minions?

nah - quite a good day. Just cutting rough on the forum after a few days away

But the "italian question" in SE22 is always guaranteed to push my buttons. Not only do we have Franco Manca coming, but Sorsi & Morsi have been here for how long now? Plus il Mirto, just off the lane, Si Mangia around the corner and people still ask bewildering questions about "italian". It's such an old trope it's beyond a joke

Plus people who primarily post "wanting" other people to give them money/info - smack

Dear Lord, I am honestly shocked at how ridiculous you are JK - so I ask for takeaways and ask for local restaurant suggestions...does this mean I am lazy? No, simply that I don't know and would like to know what the local people think. I haven't had the opportunity to walk down the lane all year (when i first moved to the area may i add) as I have been preoccupied with other things, some interesting and others mindnumbingly dull.

Have a glass of wine and chill out.

    • Thank you - very kind. Indeed! With or without a set of Punto keys, she’s going nowhere under her own steam 😂
    • That's a helpful update. I hope you get it recovered and repaired without further difficulty. Annoying it should have happened just after a service. At least no one could drive it away in the meantime!
    • Hi - a friend sent me this link…   The car is neither abandoned nor stolen! (Nor ever has been, so not sure why that has been suggested). It is mine, I collected it from service (and MOT as identified by some on here) on Friday, driving home it had a bit of a hissy fit and broke down! AA attended on Friday, could not recover it until this morning. Spoken to the nice people inside Westminster carpet on Friday who couldn’t have been kinder, I moved the car back from the doors of the property as best I could without blocking more parking spaces. Recovery should be here imminently. Apologies for any inconvenience.
