I used to go the Peckham Pulse steam room a few years ago when I first saw them being used, so got one myself but it may have been an improvisation in the first place. I never actually asked a retailer what they are for.

They are a bit fierce on the skin, if you've got a pimply back, but do the job probably alongside carrying your yams home or a hundred and one other uses
