kishlight Posted January 5, 2014 Share Posted January 5, 2014 Hi has anyone in ED had glue put in their front door lock? Came home after a night out and couldnt get in!! Any lock smith advice on changing barrel as glue is dried and in mechanism now. HELPThank you for all replies so far!Update Lock has been fixed now, however still a concern so continue to post to raise awareness. Yesterday or the day before ??? there was a used Super Glue tube on the pavement outside my house next to my car wheel... PM me your street / road name and I will tell you if the same as mine. Upstairs neighbour simply went to B&Q and bought replacement innards, then had new keys cut. Not sure exactly what you need to buy, but maybe someone can advise. Its to stop you being able to get in your home whilst they are taking your stuff out the back of your house... I only found out when I took some rubbish out in the morning, with key in hand, and couldn't get back in. I was very thankful that other people were in!
