traffic through East Croydon from ED early morning

Hello, I need to drive to Surrey via Streatham, East Croydon and Purley tomorrow morning at 7.30. I am wondering if anyone has any experience of the traffic at that time of the day: is it really heavy?. I have driven the same route several times at the w.end but never on a week day. Thank you!

I drive to Crawley quite often and go through croydon town centre then cut across to purley. If you leave ED before 7am then you should miss the traffic.


Leaving at 7.30am will se you stuck in purley, coulsdon, caterham area for a very long time.

      In part, it’s largely down to people not actually caring about anyone or anything else apart from their own gratification (btw, there are better ways to get a dopamine fix)
