Anyone installed sound proofing to walls?

Hi,

The walls between my neighbours and I are quite thin and as I am planning to renovate my house I was thinking about sound proofing the walls.

Has anyone had this done? What did it entail and how much did it cost?

Could you describe the sort of property/structure you're in, and what type of noise you're talking about ie footfall/music?

Hi Ultraburner,

I live in a fairly new build terrace house (so have neighbours either side). Noise is music or TV.
