Wanted: Gardener & Hedge/Tree Advice

Hi, on an almost non existent budget but in need of screening off our front garden from a main road. We currently have a fence but would really like to create more of a barrier and have been thinking about trees or a hedge. Obviously both of these would take time to grow or if fully grown would be really expensive. I just wondered if any gardeners who might read this have any advice or if there is a way of doing it at low cost. Thank you in advance.

Hi, just wanted to say thank you to Nigel for doing a great job on our garden. His advice was great and the hedge and landscaping he has done on the garden has made such a difference. He completed the job in a very short space of time, gave plenty of maintenance advice and had a real enthusiasm for gardening. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and to use him again. Thanks Nigel.
