I'm seeking some recommendations for a general handyman who can advise & fix a damp wall in our kitchen including fixing the wet/rotten kitchen sideboard round the sink area. Then make room for a dishwasher underneath where a cupboard currently stands. Many thanks.

Hi

I can recommeded a great local plumber and builder, where no job is too small and very good value and reliable. He also does a very quick turn around on jobs. His name is Lino and his number is 078129843015, you wont be dissapointed! :)

Sebastian is an experienced handyman offering a wide range of services. I just introduced him to the awesome Dulwich area where I am refurbishing my house. He can cover carpentry, painting, decorating and some basic plumbing.

He is a truly honest worker and I would recommend him to anyone.

I have pictures of his works upon requests.

his number is 07599709184

Depending on what you need, would recommend Minns and Langton, who operate in the area. They sorted out the damp in my house, by injecting with damp course materials, t a fraction of the price of a professional dampproofers, but they don't give a certificate, so it depends what you need. They do all kinds of handyman stuff too, Nick is on 07866 267581

    • At the time of posting previously, we had no idea of the dates we would be having the children. The maths place - you pay for a course of lessons . The coding session would be good but you need to book well in advance. Also grandson has been doing coding since 6 years old. He now has a 'mentoring role' at his primary school as his knowledge of this subject is years above his chronological age. Dates are still up in the air as their father is trying to juggle leave from a new job in the north of the country.
    • why not have a pasty shop - we could have Cornish pasties, Jamaican patties, empanadas from all the different regions.... I like all three.  I'm still going to support the Chacarero family business, as I don't support chains, just as I don't buy anything from Gail's, Nero, Starbucks etc.
    • Thought it had been a fish and chip shop at one time?
    • Try Gentrification, those with more money than sense who constantly want something different, when pie and mash isn't good enough for them.  "Argentinian Cornish pasties" give3 me a proper Cornish pastie any day of the week, at least I'd be supporting something traditionally British.   ps. tin hat at the ready........................🤣
