I spotted the squirrel/human hybrid mannequins in White Stuff last evening and they fair put the willies up me I can tell you.

Didn't one of those poetic coves describe autumn as a time of mellow fruitfulness or somesuch, not as an unholy not to say unnatural alliance between man and beast? The females are particularly disturbing, they have long eyelashes which look like spiders attacking their eyeballs. Innocent children out perusing the local stores with their parents will be witness to this piece of grotesquery, must we fling this filth at our shop kids?

There are also giant nuts involved, but I'm not touching them.

I think WS are trying to be controversial for the sake of it

Similarly, has anyone seen the ad with the giraffe girls? Very, very disturbing: long-legged, long-eyelashed giraffes (ok, yes, see that point) with bikinis and huge heaving bosoms.

Not sure the murketing (nice, Ant - mooseketing?) has worked in this case, as I've no idea what the ad was for.

We are talking about them Ant, but as squirrel pimps and beastiality mongers.

I just hope the mammal that whelped them is proud.

    • that's exactly what happened - Brickhouse were forced to close due to rent hike and then Gail's didn't move in until covid restrictions lifted and normality resumed. Gail's would have opened much sooner as they were lined up and able to offer the landlord much higher rents. Brickhouse was a local favourite
