Local rooms for psychotherapy

Robh

Recommended Posts

I am a psychiatrist in training to be a psychoanalyst who lives locally and is looking for a room or rooms to practice psychotherapy in. I have a couple of colleagues on the same course also looking for a similar thing in this area. The training cases are taken on a charitable basis so we would be looking for a setting that is conducive to therapy, but also affordable. We all work in Denmark Hill, so the closer to there the better, though would look further afield in Dulwich and Brixton.

I meet with my 1-2-1 and couple coaching clients at Goose Green Clinic. I know there are 2 or 3 pyschotherapists who work from there too. The admin is great and the rates are pretty reasonable. Feel free to get in touch if you need more information: [email protected]

    • There  is a dance fit class at Harris girls on a Monday evening 630 pm which I have been going to for years . It is an inclusive class  with a wide range of ages.    The  teacher is Fi and she is amazing and  the classes are lots of fun.   look on the web justdanceuk .com. There are other dance classes  (flowetic )that Fi and the lovely Lizzie runs  at Harris girls too . They also have an event next week which is a bit further- near Penge  which is a day of dance to include  just dance fit, dancehall, line dancing, garage fit and flowetic . Which is also available to book on that website  ( look at the events section) .
    • that’s just been misused first by Faraz and then Starmer. It’s evocative and negative.  But it’s flooding the news today.
    • I didn't realise that either! I thought it just meant division within communities - religious, racial or otherwise.  Yes, it is frightening. The days of the broad church political party are over.
    • So I've done a little more research into the current use of the word, I hadn't realised it had latterly been used to describe anti Muslim feelings. Still don't like the use of the word. These are horrible times and am fearful for the future.
