Renata Hamvas
I bought some quite recently at Krystal Pharmacy on Evelina Rd in Nunhead, but I can't however guarantee they have any left! 020 7639 0262good luckRenata Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/42199-kwells-kids/#findComment-729760 Share on other sites
Mrs TP
Can't help on the tablets sorry but I was a spectacularly car pukey child. I found travelling in the front, with the window slightly open and water to sip helped massively. Eventually, grew out of it and rarely experienced it as an adult. Good luck, really no fun for anyone. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/42199-kwells-kids/#findComment-729809 Share on other sites
snowboarder
I've been searching for joy rides or kwells for weeks to no avail (cue spectacularly bad coach transfer from the alps a couple of weeks ago....) clux
Joyrides seen to have come back in to stock again after a manufacturing problem. They disappeared for months but I've bought a few packets recently. I am stockpiling in case they disappear again! Both my children are carsick. I will keep a look out got kwells kids for you. Can also recommend phenergan which can be bought in morrisons pharmacy. Has to be taken the night before but always works for us. GinaG3
"Hyoscine hydrobromide tablets (Kwells) are used in mental health to treat clozapine induced hypersalivation. This is an unlicensed use of this medicine but is reasonably successful at ameliorating such symptoms. Recently, the manufacturer has reported problems with raw materials and this product is now out of stock at all suppliers and will remain so until early 2014. The Trust?s Pharmacological Therapies Committee considered the issue and published the following advice, most of which involves either the use of medicines off label or treatment with an unlicensed medicine." I believe the supply issues are still correct as of now. This announcement was valid as of September 2013. Might be worth ringing around a few places to check stock or asking your GP for advice on what else to consider.
