Hi

Ive been putting a team together for a 5 a side league on Monday nights in East Dulwich, however a few people have bailed at the last minute so am desperately after some players. Ability isnt really an issue, its really just for fun and a bit of exercise. The 10 week league starts 31st March and is played at Dulwich College, but I need to register by Friday. Cost is 37.50 each for the whole season.

Let me know if you're interested.

John

No age limit, in fact it is actually an over 30s league which I had completely forgotten about when putting together the team, so it would be good to push up the average if anything!

There are 2 matches per team each Monday night between 7pm and 9pm, so everyone should get at least 1 full game even of they cant quite make it for 7. The matches are 20 mins each with 10 minute halves, so not too toiling! Played with referees on astroturf.

    • It was a reactionary post and inappropriate when talking about a real case and a real person who was harmed.  London streets are generally pretty safe.  Sadly violent crime happens from time to time, as it always has.
    • Do tell, CPR Dave, what the spiteful jealous stuff is - I'm intrigued.  Agree - Burnham is a top class communicator (polar opposite of Starmer) he'd do a great job of uniting the party. I still think Wes Streeting has the edge, though I'm sure he has more enemies as well.
    • This is a huge part of the problem.   Starmer is only interested in himself, not in what is best for our country.    There's a litany of stuff he's done for spiteful jealous personal reasons which has damaged the nation enormously. Burnham would be a much better leader than of the other dross left behind when Starmer goes. To inflict a worse leader (and PM) upon us for his own selfish reasons would add to the problems and be entirely in keeping with his woeful premiership so far.
    • I heard today there was a burglary in Lacon Road yesterday evening between 20.00 - 22.00,  apparently the owners were home at the time & thieves got away with electrical items along with the owners car!  Wtf!   Anyone heard anything else?
