I have a daughter who attends Heber Primary School for the past 2 years. Since she started she has been subjected to bullying by a number of pupils. We have brought the situation to the attention of her teacher, deputy head and head teacher to no affect. The bullying has been physical and more recently mental. My daughter has now no confidence and dreads going to school. I am at the stage of looking for an alternative primary school for my daughter as this is her final year and her schooling has been severly affected by the situation. As a parent all I want is an environment where my daughter can maximise her potential academicly. This can only be achieved with good leadership, teaching and professionals who should be fully aware of their responsability to our children. Unfortunately Heber Primary school fail on all counts.
Sorry that your daughter is having a tough time, but a public gossip forum is not the place to make allegations like this, especially when you are anonymous and there is no way of knowing the full facts behind the story. Heber, like all the local primaries, is a good and caring school and not the sort of place that would ignore complaints of this nature. You were right to talk to the teacher etc, but if you aren't happy with how things have been dealt with, I would suggest that you talk to a governor at the school.

    • It was a reactionary post and inappropriate when talking about a real case and a real person who was harmed.  London streets are generally pretty safe.  Sadly violent crime happens from time to time, as it always has.
    • Do tell, CPR Dave, what the spiteful jealous stuff is - I'm intrigued.  Agree - Burnham is a top class communicator (polar opposite of Starmer) he'd do a great job of uniting the party. I still think Wes Streeting has the edge, though I'm sure he has more enemies as well.
    • This is a huge part of the problem.   Starmer is only interested in himself, not in what is best for our country.    There's a litany of stuff he's done for spiteful jealous personal reasons which has damaged the nation enormously. Burnham would be a much better leader than of the other dross left behind when Starmer goes. To inflict a worse leader (and PM) upon us for his own selfish reasons would add to the problems and be entirely in keeping with his woeful premiership so far.
    • I heard today there was a burglary in Lacon Road yesterday evening between 20.00 - 22.00,  apparently the owners were home at the time & thieves got away with electrical items along with the owners car!  Wtf!   Anyone heard anything else?
