We already have Godwin's Law", namely that as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1. Perhaps there should be an EDF Class Law providing that as an EDF discussion grows longer, the probability of an argument about class approaches 1.

@ Roundabout - if that is a question rather than a statement then the answer is yes, certainly in the early seventies ie: 42 yrs ago it was, as I had a Saturday job there, but defected to the Co-op next door (now the row of estate agents) as they offered me Friday evenings as well!!!!!!!

Most of the estate agents were already here back then as far as I remember!


I don't think the number of independent shops has really declined either.

I thought that used to be a furniture store in the late 80's.
