Plastering quote needed please

Recommended Posts

I've had a bathroom flooding incident which has brought down part of my kitchen ceiling.

I'm looking for someone who could assess damage and give me a quote please. Not sure whether I will need to claim on insurance, suppose it depends on how much work it needs. Could anyone give a recommendation, or any plasterers / builders that could quote? Please feel free to PM me.

Thanks very much, HJQ

Hi there. I would recommend Minns and Langton, who redecorated our house in and out, which involved replastering our victorian ceilings and exterior brickwork. They were very hardworking and work was of a high standard, plus easy to deal with too. Nick is on 07866267581.

Ceiling can be patched. Steve the Plasterer did a great job on my ceiling where a huge patch of original ceiling collapsed - he fixed the patch with bonding and plaster board and then plastered the entire ceiling and walls of a large room. Did the job as per his estimate and was helpful and cleaned up each day until finished.

Will use him again.

Steve's on 07947 745061. Say Des recommended him.

    • You keep insisting that you're "just stating facts", but so far, most of what you've shared isn't fact - it's just your personal opinion, framed with hostility.  Foxes aren't classified as "vermin" in the UK. They're wild animals protected under the Animal Welfare Act & the Wildlife & Countryside Act . & Yes, they do play a vital role in controlling rodent population. The more you double down on insults & misinformation, the more you discredit your own argument. It's possible to be fed up & still informed. Take the information provided to you & do something about it. BTW culling doesn't even work.
    • It’s hardly likely you know that for a fact Sue
    • I know an instance where the foxes quickly learned how to avoid such devices.
    • I did read the comments above It's not moaning, it's stating facts. Tell you what,  you can come and clear up the near daily fox crap and see how you like dealing with it, no didn't think that would appeal to you.  Do they control rodents?  Foxes are vermin.  It's an emotive topic for some, I realise that, however the facts are foxes are a pest.
