I cannot contain my excitement. I have today found a good and reliable window cleaner, plus I have a garden man coming around this afternoon. Together with Mr L offering (recompense for me obtaining Glasto tickets) to spend the entire BH weekend (a) taking me to various shops to buy things for me and (b) seriously attacking my garden with various garden implements, this is proving to be an excellent week.

Plus, I am on the verge of ordering a lovely garden swing.

Am I a bear of little brain?

Watch out for the lovely window cleaner man, I found one recently, and he has scored the glass on my windows very badly - I don't know how he is doing it, and I am never home when he does it to explain the problem to him. I thought only diamonds would score glass! If he washes windows in Dulwich, he may be your window cleaner too!

    • Initially, when all the discussion took place at Bradbury some of existing building was to be demolished which meant that 3 flats would go but these residents would have to wait until new building erected to be housed. No indication has been given as to where people would be placed during building. I am glad that the tree is to remain - Bradbury residents contacted various environmental groups to lobby for tree to remain. I gather that there is likely to be a question of restricted views to be made by Wood Vale residents as 5 stories is significantly higher than current building.
