Hi,

My mum used to send me to place during the holidays called Scamps, I used to love going there, I made loads of friends!

Its in dulwich college school. It has loads of fun activities that your child can choose from.

I hope this was helpful :)

Thank you everyone. I'll have a look at your recommendations and suggestions. My son has been to scamps before but I don't think they will be running over the May half term. Also, just found out that Holiday drop-off at Dulwich College will be running from the 27th - 30th of May and their times are from 8 - 5pm.

Thank you again.

Hi- we've still some spaces for Nimble Arts holiday club in East Dulwich (based at Heber school) if you're still looking. We've got a variety of creative activities, with some great artists and practitioners joining us, all with a bit of an interplanetary/sci-fi theme!

Monday: space themed arts and crafts (we're offering half days on this as we know you might have family activities planned some of the day!)

Tuesday: Drama - join the mad professor's space lab!

Wedenesday: 'Take flight' acrobatics and circus skills

Thursday: Sound Lab - weird and wonderful music and sounds

Friday: Film Lab - create your own film!

All details are at www.nimblearts.co.uk. From experience the mid-week days tend to fill up more quickly, but there's still space on all days for the time being!

Hi LalKJ - at Nimble Arts we can take 4 year olds for 4 hours at a time (it's to do with the terms of early years registration - probably why most clubs operate for 5 upwards!) which we often arrange for younger siblings and friends. If 4 hours is any use, do drop me a PM or email ([email protected]), but appreciate you probably need childcare for the full day. We're hoping to offer this at some point as we're experienced early years practitioners and teachers!

    • Disagree. Where are the police when you need them? People want a police presence, they want to feel reassured by seeing them do what the word suggests, policing, so go catch some bad guys, arrest, charge and get the CPS to prosecute with the evidence to enable this to happen. Stabbing and shootings are so common place they no longer even get reported in the public domain. How many crimes don't get solved? Rather case closed and forgotten. The number of low to high level crimes which remain unsolved is staggering.  The criminal fraternity know this, they know they won't get caught so they just carry on.  Biggest crimes which affect most people, probably are phone and car theft, both are prolific and what do the police do, diddly squat. zilch, nothing, provide a crime reference number and the case is closed. Not good enough, not by a country mile.   Met Engage? I don't think so.

Recent data suggests a drop in violent crime. Gang violence will make a significant contribution to the numbers. You are unlikely to be attacked by a stranger
    • Unfortunately there are plenty of shops which don't care and will sell vapes, alcohol and weed to minors, I'm sure they won't care about selling them fireworks. Or the kids nick them.
    • It’s getting a bit annoying. We’ve a nervous dog who trembles when they go off. I know to expect it around Halloween and Diwali but it seems to be happening more through the year.
