Recommending Niko the plumber

Another Recommendation for Niko who we found on the EDF site. He was very prompt in contacting us, coming to assess the problem, getting parts, fixing and offering lots of advice. Have already asked him to do other work. Great sense of humour too, which always helps! His number is 07818 607583

Just wanted to add my recommendation for Niko too - also found him on the Forum. Rang him late on a Friday night in a panic about a blocked toilet, and he came straight round. Really helpful, sorted the problem, very reasonable rate. Also very friendly and yes, very funny. Will definitely use him again.
The ball valve went in my cistern. I had hopes of being able to do the job myself but conceded defeat this morning when I realised there was no way I was going to be able to get to the recessed nut holding the old valve in place. Met Niko when he did a job for a friend several months ago and having seen how well he works, gave him a call. He was round in 15 mins, repaired the existing ballvalve and charged a very reasonable rate. Good guy, very knowledgable, and a great laugh. Highly recommended.
Recommend Niko highly. Sensible advise and good value. No hesitation in giving him top marks. He came out the same day, diagnosed the problem, was honest in saying he had probably fixed it but we needed to watch in case there was a secondary fault. His number is 07818 607583.
Niko has just fitted an outside tap for me, not a straightforward job at all as neither kitchen nor bathroom water source are easily accessible due to the layout of my flat. He's a problem solver, took real care to minimise damage and is a thoroughly nice bloke. Very happy to recommend!

Niko fitted a very nifty tap under my kitchen sink for a hose pipe last week, great solution as my house is an unusual lay out and resulted in minimal upheaval!

Very pleased with the service, ultra quick consultation and same day completion (to my delight) as it was a smallish job.

Turned out my neighbours have used him too in the past and all have been pleased with results.

    • Everyone gets the point that Corbynites try to make with the "total number of votes cast" statistic, it's just a specious one.  In 2017, Corbyn's Labour got fewer votes than May's Tories (both the percentage of votes and aggregate number of votes). In 2019, Corbyn's Labour fewer votes than Johnson's Tories (both the percentage of votes and aggregate number of votes); and he managed to drop 2.7 million votes or 6.9% of vote share between the two elections. I repeat, he got trounced by Boris F***ing Johnson and the Tories after the Brexit omnishambles. It is not true that a "fairer" electoral system would have seen Labour beat the Tories: Labour simply got fewer votes than the Tories. Corbyn lost twice. There is no metric by which he won the general election. His failure to win was a disaster for the UK, and let Johnson and Truss and Sunak into office. Corbynites have to let go of this delusion that Corbyn but really won somehow if you squint in a certain way. It is completely irrelevant that Labour under Corbyn got more votes than Labour under Starmer. It is like saying Hull City was more successful in its 2014 FA Cup Final than Chelsea was in its 2018 FA Cup Final, because Hull scored 2 goals when Chelsea only scored 1. But guess what - Chelsea won its game and Hull City lost. Corbyn's fans turned out to vote for him - but an even larger group of people who found him repellant were motivated enough to show up and vote Tory.
