I would think it would depend on the qualification of the person running the session as well as materials and if it was a one off or every week per term, also how many children are involved and if there will be other teachers involved too... I am a teacher and have charged ?200 for a couple of hours of INSET for teachers and I know people who come into schools charge a similar price for a one off session.

Depends what it is, surely...

A half day "workshop" kind of thing, regular hour long slots etc. I have to say that ?25 an hour sounds very, very thin.

I know people who will do a 3 hour session for ?250- ?300. A quick browse around websites that tailor these for schools suggests that this is quite cheap.

DHJS charge parents ?5 or ?6 a 45 min / hour long session. So that would be somewhere around 75 an hour. I;m pretty sure that "cost" to parents isn't directly related to the cost of providing the class (so not necessarily a good guide)

    • My daughter lost an earring possibly under the bridge at Herne Hill while cycling on Saturday evening towards Loughborough Junction. It has great sentimental value. If anyone has found it please get in contact. Thank you Don
    • The problem is not generally with the stores or drivers - who generally are doing the best they can and receive peanuts for each package. (Rumored that Evri will pay only 20-30p to a shop that receives/sends a parcel). The problem is the business model of these courier companies that do not invest in infrastructure or depots, but just outsource everything and set "contractor" drivers impossible targets. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2019/dec/08/christmas-parcel-delivery-drivers-driven-to-the-edge
    • I don’t think that this is a Barry’s-specific issue in the area. I’m constantly having parcels refused for delivery at the InPost lockers outside the Family Store on Upland as well as at the Esso garage by the Rye
    • I was several miles away and I didn't miss it, as apparently didn't lots of others also several miles away. But as I and others reported although we guessed it was fireworks it sounded more like the WWI front line, albeit from a distance!
