Yes I had an issue with a builder recently (not our builder, he was working on a neighbour's property but needed access) just awful, apparently I was in the wrong for daring to ask how much longer the work would take as he was blocking our drive for over 3 weeks. Unfortunately, the neighbour didn't see fit to discuss it with us before hand, or indeed afterwards.

A few years ago we had a new front door and patio doors fitted, I had 2 kids at home at the time (2 and 3 years old). Two of the tradesmen from the company had a full on physical and verbal fight in our front garden in full view of me and the kids. Thankfully it was over pretty quickly, but the kids still talk about it. Horrible.


That, combined with totally shoddy workmanship, means I'm quick to advise against using that company when it crops up on the forum.

      Our beautiful indoor cat went out the front door near Woodvale/Camberwell Old Cemetery/Horniman Nature Trail at 8.30 PM on 30/7 and hasn't been back since. We have had her for 7+ years and she has not gone missing before so we are really worried, if you see her please do take her in if possible, or if not please contact us with a location as soon as you can.       Agree with Sephiroth - It's when investors take over and it becomes almost exclusively about maximising margins and having a offer that is easily reproduceable at scale. In other words, when the accountants are in charge rather than the creatives.
