bkkmei
HiI think if you do a search I'm sure you'll find quite a few recommendations. For our house, we used:Scenic Windows (Paul): for all kinds of new windows - sash / casement / secondary / French doors / acoustic glass. Lovely, honest fitter who won't try to see you what you don't need.http://scenicglazing.com/enquiries/index.phpDulwich Sash Windows (Michael): for repairing/restoring our front bay sash windows. Very meticulous and hard-working. He also said he could provide new windows.http://dulwichsashwindows.com/pages/index.htmlVery happy with both companies. Steph05
Hi, Not sure if you've found anyone to yet but I'd throughly recommend Steve Carter and Sundial www.sundialps.co.uk. After putting off repairing the sash windows for over ten years I finally bit the bullet. One of the main reasons I went with Steve apart from him being a really nice guy was that they paint the windows as well, no one else I spoke to seemed to offer this. They were with us for about four weeks and Eric and the boys were really great, cleaning up after themselves every day which trust me you really need as it can get messy. The finished windows look beautiful, are running smoothly and the house has never been so free of draughts !!
