Palmerston very good - can also recommend Great Exhibition although it's not strictly on Lordship Lane

Doesn't Off Lordship Lane mean NOT ON Lordship Lane as in 'off the beaten track'?

House of Tippler do a very good roast which you can finish off with one of their excellent cocktails.

Not in East Dulwich but All In One in Perry Vale behind Forest Hill Station does an excellent roast. The owners are hands on husband/wife team, personally attending to cooking, bar and waiting, assisted by friendly and efficient back up staff. Both husband and wife are professionally trained hoteliers. It is essential to book for Sunday lunch.

There is an outside play area for children, as well as another outside area for adults who would rather be away from children. The pub is not overrun by children.
