I agree. I feel so lucky to have found this nursery. It’s very nurturing but I’ve also been amazed at the phonics etc they do - it’s far superior to what I’ve experienced at other nurseries in the area

I'm writing this recommendation as my cleaner Polly has some availability to take on new houses She and her husband are professional, friendly and do a great job. I honestly don't know how my house is cleaned so well in the short time they are here. I look forward to them coming every week because everything looks so nice afterwards. Phlox - the initial jabs were done by Battersea so I don't blame them for using economical vaccines & having a policy to vaccinate before new owners take the cats... My cat was just an unlucky one

This was a couple of years ago, but I had a very poorly cat with complex illness and the Neighbourhood Vet did an amazing job - I credit them with him growing into healthy & happy cat. They actually advised against any future jabs for him because they suspected an adverse reaction to his initial vaccines (not done by them.) So I'm a very happy customer.

Hello, We are on the hunt for a great decorator to do our front room. It's wallpapered & we would like it painted... not sure what lovely surprises lurk underneath the wallpaper as it's quite an old house. Does anyone have any recommendations?

None of those jobs seem urgent/necessary as opposed to stuff you would like to do, so you could take your time/save up if necessary and stagger the work. If you like the house, can afford it and it's in a good location I would go for it.

It took me over three months to get an appointment with the nurse after they cancelled twice on the day of the appointment, when I had already booked time off work. Really hope they have improved... I've always had good care from the GPs, it just seems way too busy.

Well if you take that view, you should never let your cat out at all in case they get run over by a car. I think all cat owners need to come to their own decisions on what they feel comfortable doing.

Cinnabar - I agree 100% with your post. My cat means the world to me, but I think it would be cruel to keep him in all the time because he is so happy when he's outside. At the moment the balance I've struck is to keep him in at night (even though he's not happy at all about this, because he particularly likes going out at night.) There has to be a quality of life argument here too - my cat would be so unhappy being cooped up inside all day that I don't think that would be fair.

Similar thing happened to me - thought it was very weird, the guy seemed surprised when I opened the door and then asked me questions about the windows at the back of my house & whether we had a conservatory. It felt suspicious (like he was knocking to see if someone was inside the house, and scoping out the property)

Hello, I would like to add to this positive review. We used Godden Structural Repair for some work to our house and were very impressed. The work was done to a high standard, David and his team were reliable and in addition they were great to have around the house (polite and trustworthy.) In addition some of the work to our roof did not need doing, so David advised us and reduced the cost rather than doing the work and pocketing the money. Very happy to recommend.

I have a rescue kitten who has had some very serious health problems - some of which were very difficult to diagnose and treat. I can't praise the Neighbourhood Vets any higher. To the point where I think I would have found it so much more difficult to look after my cat without them.

Azira - yes that happened to me. I was worried about leaving feedback because of reprisals but in the end decided to because I had such an awful experience, despite the many positive reviews on the forum. The tradesman in question did get in touch with me afterwards asking me to take down the post but nothing else came of it... If you are really worried about it, is there a way of leaving feedback without identifying who you are?

If Neighbourhood Vets goes I will be devastated... I have a much loved but very poorly rescue kitten and that place has been invaluable to me
