Hello,

My boy is 18mths old and has been walking for about 7mths now. He wears flexible start rite shoes usually. I bought him wellies for the rainy weather but they are really hard for him to walk in and his feet often slip out. Does anyone know of anything softer and more flexible that are easy to put on (ie zips or Velcro) and suit the rain? I have seen something called rainsplats that look ideal but they are for older children it seems.

My boys both had croc snow boots when they were little - much lighter than wellies and these ones http://www.crocs.co.uk/crocs-kids-crocband-ii-5-gust-boot/12905,en_GB,pd.html?cid=485&cgid=boys-footwear-boots have a velcro tightening strap. Not cheap though...maybe on ebay?

I second these, my kids still have them now. Worth mentioning croc sizing is small, you need one size larger than their normal size as recommended in the Croc shop.

    • Why would mice move? It’s not so much they move as multiply and spread    copy and paste rather than cut and paste  mice can and should be dealt with.  But not easily or with guarantees  i would say most people in se22 reading this have mice. Whether they know it or not

    • If a food outlet has a mouse problem then it's likely to stay there until the outlet runs out of food, unless it's adjacent to other food outlets. Why would the mice move? And mice can be dealt with. If you are prepared to pay for it. Which, with some proprieters, is a very big if. I have no evidence that the problem has reoccured in its new inception, although obviously good owners keep the focus on good hygiene. You win the battle but the war continues.
