Good hairdresser recommendation please?

Hi there,

Please can you recommend a really good hairdresser - ideally locally. My hair, which is already quite fine, has suffered post pregnancy, so ideally a hairdresser who is good with fine hair.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I have fine hair, have tried tons of places in ED but I am now sticking with GM's on Melbourne grove, very attentive staff and brilliant haircuts. Not that cheap I guess but then again, where is? Highly recommended.

Jeanette who worked in the recently closed Roche. You get exactly what you ask for, she has great advice and is very warm and welcoming. I have her number, pm if you want to have a chat with her.

I have very fine, thin hair and Shingo at Kuki in Bellenden Road does wonders with it.

If you do a search on here for Kuki you will find many recommendations for all the stylists there, but particularly Shingo.

It's forty pounds for a cut and blow dry (including a drink!) and the quality is as good if not better as anywhere I've been in town.

I would never go to GM's again after more than one bad experience there in the past :(

Starz on east dulwich road (near the small Tesco) is a good one to try. Me and my mum have been going there for years and would def recommend. Prices are v reasonable and it's a lovely family run salon.
