I just wish to commend Lisa Anderson for the first night of Peckhamburger

The cafe Andersons makes living near Bellenden Road such a pleasure. We have spent many happy and delicious hours there!

So we were thrilled to hear her and her son were opening in the evenings under the guise 'Peckhamburger'.

We couldn't get a babysitter for our 2 under 2 tonight. But we really wanted to try it out on its first night this evening - so we were delighted it did takeaway. And I just want to urge everyone here to try it as it was really very delicious indeed!

The beef pattie was perfectly cooked!

Just in from having a great burger, fries and couple beers. Will be back. Runs Thurs to Sun from 6pm. Will be as regular as it's busy and viable. Use it or loose it I guess. Was busy tonight.

Nice atmospheric spot in the evening and I like how they've done the back courtyard. But tbh burger was decent but nothing special and fries were massively over salted. That said it was good enough to go back.

Can't bear over salted food, fries should be offered without salt.

Or, maybe the over salting was a a ploy to make you thirsty and buy more drinks.
