In my delerious Man-Flu rideden state I have been forced to choose between saving the universe on one of those video games thingies, or watching endless cr&p on television... the latter won out only because the games amchine is further away then the controller.

however I saw the Iams Cat advert - that appears to be voiced by Leslie Phillips and it got me wondering.

If your cat did speak and have a celeb voice, would Mr Phillips be the choice for you, it could make coming home strage hearing "Hellloooooo" (very sexiest tones) coming at you as you opened the front door.

With all the cat owners out there, tell me who would you choose your cat to sound like if he/she could speak (and I guess in the interest of fairness you can nominate a voice for your dog)

Personally I think "Mr Doggie" from Little Britian USA could the perfect voice for a cat.

Also Tom Baker would be a great voice, but would keep me in stitches for days.

Hello PR, when Spacey and you have this sort of conversation I trust you've been making use of public transport rather the 'sickle.

I worry for you, and of course the general populace at large. But mostly you.

Came home lunch time and she was snoring. Then she woke up, made out she had been out all night (which is a blatant lie as she sleeps all night on the bed), and ordered me to do her dinner early as she had an appointment to chase leaves on the balcony. This is also a lie since she is terrified of going out there in case the squirrel comes back. Since MadWorld74 recommended I line the plant pots with slate chippings they have given up, but she's still worried they might. She says all this today in the voice of Joe Pesci in Lethal Weapon. "OK ok ok ok ok ok ok ok make me dinner now. OK ok ok ok"

Pickle, I just wonder whether it makes me like the loony American girl (although the actress is a complete genius, I love that character). You may have Bret (she said graciously), he's all stringy and beardy and no use to me.

My other cat I feel would speak with the voice of Rodney from Only Fools - he thinks he's clued up, but really he's a bit of a twit and the other cats run rings around him. PGC, what do you think?

    • Well if not housing with a bit of social attached, perhaps a local supermarket or a restaurant/ chain food place. Can’t think of anything else  that would for the bill unless a private dentist or even something like Tessa Jewel to serve that section. Pity that skate park might go - guys and gals put so  much work into it but have to  move with times. Community centre?  Anyone have any other ideas? Nice to explore….. Meant Jowel - not Jewel…
    • I have noticed this year that those plants of mine that 'berry' have berry-ed up excessively this year, particularly the mahonia. Old wives tales suggest this would suggest a harsh winter is in the offing - it will be interesting to see if this saying bears fruit (see what I've done there?).
    • That totally passed  me by- agree with  you totally - think  she must be going thru a bad patch - as Jazzer has mentioned somewhere else, has totally changed her tune but saying that, we all have bad  days and need to get things off our chest. Moving on….never been a fan of Croydon myself - use to have to relocate clients there years  - like everywhere some nice parts and some  not so nice. Not a place  I would go to for a mooch or shopping myself.
    • Thanks Penguin. It could be a coincidence. But after years of road safety being on the local agenda they finally put the crossings in months before Dulwich Estates regain the lease on The Grove.   The Estate understands there is strong local interest in improving this area and we hope to be in a position to share some exciting updates in the near future. The temporary skatepark will remain unaffected. “Temporary skatepark” is telling.
