  1. Can we have another Tescos metro? Just in case, I can't be arsed to walk to East Dulwich Road or top of Rye Lane. The area's crying out for it.

  4. I think Romeo and Juliet is a fairly safe bet. I personally wouldn't go and see Acosta, he is a great dancer, but I don't personally find him a particularly good actor. I'd personally prefer to see Kobborg or Edward Watson. In March, the Royal Ballet are doing La Fille Mal Gardee, a sort of comic love story set in the country. I used to think that it is a bit twee, but is so beautifully done. That might be another option. Oh and it is a shorter evening than Romeo. You can be in the pub for 9.30pm. There are quite a few seats with some kind of restriction on the view, as the Opera House is a horse shoe shaped. If you can afford it, sitting downstairs is much nicer than the amphitheatre.
  5. Will this machine show up the stash up my jacksy?
  6. Ebay is a complete waste of time and is total con. Paypal that is so obsessed with their own security. I'nm suprised they don't ask for a blood sample or a stool to keep on file. Scavangers trying to make a buck with vastly inflated postal charges. And then every counterfeiter in the entire world trying to sell 'designer' goods in XXXL sizes. Never again.
  7. Ever since they joined up in gangs, that's when I got scared. One or two fine. But a swarm of about hundred, as I had last year, I was screaming like a banshee.
  8. I also wondered if it was Clarkes, as their drivers seem to drive very aggressively, particularly over Denmark and Dog Kennel Hills. Are coaches, particularly empty ones, allowed to use bus lanes?
  9. I know we're being told that the Government trusts us to be truthful and not swamp the new NHS website giving information on Swine flu and dispensing Tamiflu. But I just wondered, will you be be tempted and try to stock up on Tamiflu, when the website goes live around lunch time?
  10. Unless I owned my own business, it would probably vex me for a little while but that's all. I don't have the same relationship with data as I do with my real stuff, cds, dvds, photos, books I've read, momentos and things I collect. They're tactile and are around me and I'd be sad to lose them. I have an external drive, mainly because I've downloaded so much shit over the years. Quite a lot of it, I've never watched or listened to and probably never will. I mean how many times can you watch that classic film, Fool's Gold.
  11. The Maudsley also run a smoking cessation clinic, but smokers probably don't get much sympathy, but I'm guessing a fair few might use the 185 occassionally.
  12. I gave up with Peckham Pulse, after watching a guy shave his pubes in the changing rooms. I wasn't even put off by somebody taking pot shots at the windows. It was a vile place.
  13. Wouldn't it just be safer if we kept the kids inside? Playing in parks and other provocative behaviour by misguided parents could easily lead to such despicable acts such as people taking their children's photograph. I for one would to do not want to see any further spread of these shocking children at play websites that keep popping up. Though I've not seen one personally.
  14. Yay!!! I'm moving, got myself a Council flat and all. Just down the road from Westminster Bridge. Feel like I've one the lottery. Who'd have guessed. After all this time and me being a single white male. Only needed to get a life threatening illness and wait 6 years. Sorted. Shame that the SE1 forum is pants.
  15. I was just wondering, if you are not going to report it to the police, why you felt the need to tell this forum. If they were attacking the bin in a frenzy, wouldn't it be in the interests of everyone to at least alert the authorities.
  16. Did you manage to get her number plate or can you give us a more detailed description of car driver with the vexed expression. I may be able to get places quicker than other road users, but I may have to stop riding, until something is done about crazy car/ lorry drivers.
  17. What with many parents letting themselves go after having children, I can see that the wider berths are a godsend.
  18. With choldhood obesity rates being what they are, wouldn't it be helpful to place these spaces as far away from the shop as possible?
  19. Pro, Are you PC or MAC?

  21. I think we had had too much wierdness that a few white children that he was trying to tell us were his, just seemed a bit too normal for us to care.
  22. I saw an item on Kirsty and Phil about solar panels. They didn't mention the war. But then they're Channel 4. Perhaps you could pitch your ideas to the BBC? Get that nice couple from Homes under the Hammer to present. They're touchy feely and could get your message across to the public, who are clearly being hoodwinked. Thanks for making me realise what a evil organisation the BEEB is.

    loose women

I kind of look forward to it, when I'm ill/ hungover and off work. I can happily spend a day watching The Wright Stuff/ This Morning/ Loose Women/ Cash in the Attic and any of the programme featuring Kristian Digby. I confess I've stayed up to watch the repeat at about 2am. Sad really.
