Kingswood House Supper Club Launch Night 3rd July

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I am very pleased and excited :) to announce that two local catering companies - Salon and The Flavour Kitchen are joining forces to host a new fine dining supperclub in the gorgeous surroundings of Kingswood House in Gypsy Hill. For those of you not aware of this beautiful building - it is a late Victorian gem, once owned by the Bovril entrepreneur, John Lawson Johnston.

Our supper club will be held in one the House's fabulous wood panelled rooms complete with grand stone fireplaces and colourful Victorian tapestries. We have designed our fine dining supper club menus to compliment the grand and stately surroundings in which it will be served, but of course with a few little twists....not to mention some brilliant light entertainment.

The opening night is on the 3rd July and has a special launch price of ?38.50 for welcome cocktail, canap?s and four courses including amuse bouche. We hope to have a temporary license for the evening to sell wine.

    • Children below 10 are under the age of criminal responsibility and I believe that although it's not strictly legal, police rarely make a fuss about them cycling on the pavement - it's a good way for them to practice regularly. I feel terrified seeing little children wobbling along on the road and would always have rather risked getting into trouble than endangering my child . I once saw a really little child cycling on Lordship Lane with her father and felt so worried I said something - and he told me it was because of people were complaining. In this case it was a tiny child and you weren't injured and nothing was damaged so it seems a bit of an over-reaction. It doesn't seem to me that what the father said to you was particularly rude although if he wasn't supervising I agree that wasn't responsible.
    • yeah but its a better class of dog faeces
    • It was a response to long and at times clearly unhelpful, not to say insulting, comments including ones implying that the initial report was madey-uppy.
