Decent water bottles?

Every summer we try and buy the kids water bottles which leak or break in days...

Any recommendations of decent, hardy ones (that maybe even keep the water cool for a bit)?

The kids camelbak ones are good - don't leak and are easily opened and closed by the small user!

Only decent ones in my opinion are metal ones - last forever

Sigg or similar

We got some small ones from either eBay or amazon personalised with children's names

They can actually be frozen if not too full

Or camelbak are not bad plastic ones

We use a camelback one as we both have adult ones and it helps for him to be 'just like daddy/mummy' sometimes

We use the Sistema ones and find they work pretty well.

The big problem with the sigg metal ones I've bought, is that the inside lining peels away after lots of dishwasher washing.

I don't do hand washing so everything needs to be dishwasher friendly?

Have never had a problem with sigg lining

I have a flask that went to the Himalayas with me and I used as a hot water bottle at night as well as for drinking in the day. It's still going strong more than 20 years later

I think they are fantastic....tried to order a load more of the cheap ones but sold out!....bought extra of the blue ?6 one which are good value too....I prefer drinking from the adult flip top but actually went for the straw kid best seller ones in the end (sorry can't remember their names!) as the loop in the top makes them great for carrying/can just swing along!....no leaking as yet and we have been putting in freezer, not sure if it's good for them but a great idea....
