A pub to watch the england game tonight -recommendations?

Hi all

Want to watch the England game tonight in a pub in ED. We are four women (of a certain age) and may even want to sit down! Any recommendations? PS: Not watched a game in the pub previously so excited at the prospect! Thanks.

I really like the EDT for sport......if you want a seat though, get there as early as poss

As the World Cup is on terrestrial and not sky, many pubs that wouldn't normally show football will be showing it...like the Clock House or the Patch. The Actress has a massive screen and a good atmos but service at the bar can be slow during a big match. Enjoy and let's hope for a better result!

And all of those pubs who consider sport on tv to be beneath them normally will also be getting in on the act.

The non England matches have been fun to watch this year - and pubs not jam packed.

Had some good world cup experiences in the GOwlett who normally don't really do that sport malarkey. It was a less sporty crowd in there too, but usual caveat about getting there early.
