(with advance apologies to a certain forumite - trust me you are not the only one sending these to me)

how can I stop people sending them to me??

Not that I would buy anything in Threshers anyway (over sugared wines, contributions to Tory party yadda yadda - all the reasons you would expect from.. well, me)

But surely the whole thing stinks a bit? Didn't they claim in previous years that it was a mistake? It's all just poxyviral marketing, one step up from those apocyphal emails about findding a fleet of cars in a a warehouse if you ask me

Not to mention they might actually be malicious

Quite right, I don't know what I was thinking. Don't kill Strawbs with sticks. I'm saying nothing on the subject of sticks and other people - that's entirely between you and your maker (or perhaps also the fuzz)

edited to apologise for the sugar rush to the brain provoking unwarranted blood lust - and errant punctuation - I've had a lot of Haribo

aaaw thanks beautiful! I was hoping someone might save me from the crazy stick wavers! You always seem to jump in when I need ya. *blows a kiss*

Emails from Thresher and Gap? I don't understand really.

The invitation from Giggirl to clog up her in-box seems a trifle 'broad'. I think it might be a contribution to a new script for a filum entitled Carry On Fe-Mail

Sticks, though, them I understand. Swing and hit. Just swing and hit.

    • If this is you or you know of them, please send me a private message. They're likely to live on Crystal Palace Road. Thanks.
    • In my experience there is no fool proof solution to this with any company. Delivery drivers are people and people will make mistakes, cut corners, mis-understand instructions or simply not read them.  I've left instructions for parcels with just about every single company out there and at some point they've all screwed up.  I think the security camera is the best deterrent for thieves. In this case, my ring door bell spooked them off. I've just installed warning signs at my safe space to make it even clearer that they're being recorded. In the case that mistakes do still happen by the couriers, at least I know about it on the camera and can try to alert a neighbour if I'm not home.  Its sad that we have to turn our homes into fort knox with cameras but that's the world we live in.
    • Ultimately unacceptable behaviour at many schools of all types was exposed by Everyone Invited, not just at Dulwich College.
    • Come now, you have seen the constant threads concerning poor post and deliveries since the Dulwich office closed and merged with Peckham  Surly that alone tells you how it would compare to now as the whole system was way more efficient.  But despite the complaints and warnings here we are!!
