Hi just made some ice cream but after having it churned for a hour it's still mushy. Can anyone help?

You have to put it in the freezer after the ice-cream maker...

So should i put the bowl back in the freezer after it has churned for the hour?

Assuming you're using an ice cream maker... pour the slushy semi-frozen ice-cream into a tupperware container, then put that in the freezer.

I wish I knew this a year ago - stayed up until 3am wondering why the bloody thing wouldn't freeze. I suppose that's what the instruction manual was for...

Did you freeze the bowl before you started the churning?

yes- for 24 hours.

Then put it back in the freezer, and if the bowl is too big, use a container as above. Did you get two bowls with the machine?
