Paul is helping me out today with assembling garden furniture and other odd jobs. He is great - efficient, friendly, helpful, cares about standards. Some of screw holes on some of the flat pack furniture I've ordered has been incorrectly aligned, and Paul is just getting on with sorting it all out without complaint. I will definitely keep his number and use his services again.

Yay another satisfied customer of Paul's. I called him on Monday and he came round on Thursday and completed works quickly and efficiently. He is also great with dogs!!! I will definately be calling him again for any future works needed.

I also want to thank you guys who prevously recommended him - I found his number through this forum

Here is Paul's number again - 07843 877284

Thank you Paul

I've just registered to this site for no other reason but to recommend Paul.

I hired him to install a kitchen worktop. He turned up when he said he would, gave me plenty of advice on my options and installed the worktop quickly with huge attention to detail and superb workmanship.

I have a variety of small jobs that need doing and won't hesitate to call him again. Apart from being hardworking, honest and extremely good value, he's also a really nice, friendly guy.

Another recommendation for Paul. Despite being completely booked up for weeks, he found 3 hours for us on Saturday afternoon, did all our jobs, had lots of ideas and suggestions and was brilliant with our 4 year old who insisted upon being his assistant the whole time. Thanks Paul, great job.

I used Paul this week. Hardworking nice bloke. Assembled a plastic roof and put up some shelves, fixed some bits and bobs I was incapable of doing. My wife and I and my kids liked him. He even spotted a slow drip some terrible plumber called Keith Wallis had created while doing a bad job for me a month or so ago and potentially saved me a fortune and informed me to get it fixed p.d.q. So thank you to him and do one Keith. I will gladly report an update of the roof in six months time as the winter fast approaches.

    • Lost morning of 5th November between Archdale Road  and Denmark Hill station via Lordship Lane.
    • Was planning to come on here to ask if anyone might know which celeb/royal came through Lordship Lane yesterday - was on my way up to Spurs, on bus at the roundabout by the EDT when some whistling police cyclists pulled the traffic to the side of the road to allow a biggish range rover to shoot past, on the way up towards Dog Kennel Hill. Could only make out two, maybe middle-aged, men in the front before it passed. Mildly hysterical lady on pavement was laughing/screeching with her friend that they were desperately trying to find out who it was. Had more reason to post after this lunchtime's experience. Had just got to bus stop opposite the M&S by the station when some mini cooper thing bombed through the traffic, swerving across to cut up another car to get up the hill, before two or three police cars followed about 20 seconds behind. Said mini cooper thing then reappeared coming the other way, beeping its horn to get other cars out the way before it bombed up what I think was Elsie Road, with police cars now on both sides of the road by Maxin trying to stop traffic getting in the way/half the speeding car. Bit more than I had bargained for when I set out/want in local area! Stay careful out there folks, this place is getting scarier...
    • The stop outside the chippy was still closed earlier today, although the barriers I saw yesterday have been removed, so no need for the closure.  The stop outside the church across the road is now uncovered and open
    • You all have different and conflicting interests though. It isn't necessarily appropriate for him to communicate with all of you at the same time about the same issues.    You're giving more away with each post as to how these difficulties probably arose.
