I have had a rash of people who state that the definitely want an item I'm offering, say they'll come over and get it and then I never hear another word from them. This has happened multiple times lately and I find it really frustrating. It Ok if you change your mind, but have the decency to at least tell me that, don't just leave me hanging. It's just common courtesy and politeness. Anyway that's my rant, have a lovely rest of your week.
I've found that 99.9 percent of the time people turn up. And when they do they come with great personality and charm, so we end up having a great chat too, which is a bonus. There's only one person who has stood me up - twice. And she seems to be a serial abuser.

    • Threads that devolve like this should be moved to the Lounge, so the 'comedy' can continue in an appropriate vacuum.
    • How very dare you. Rest assured, if it were intended to be comedy, it would have been funny.
    • I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I  guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.
    • I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
