Being knocked off her scooter must have been a big shock. If you're already feeling shaken and vulnerable, that post and some of the more insensitive 'banter' that followed may have landed in ways that the posters didn't anticipate. Not that that's an excuse - anyone with a bit of empathy might guess she could be upset by what had happened.
