Just wanted to recommend Alan from Wall2Wall4U who came round at really short notice and did an excellent job re-pointing our house. He is super friendly, worked really hard and was very reasonably priced. We also had no hesitations leaving him keys to our house.

Alan can be contacted on 07775 573857.

I second this recommendation! I always find it difficult to know who to trust and whether they will actually deliver on their promises. First of all - the work is top notch! He did our pointing for a fixed price and looks fantastic, but in that time sorted out our flashing which was a mess, and painted our sills. Really nice guy!! Thanks Alan!

He is saved in my address book.

We recently had our old brick garden wall repaired by Alan and we are very happy with the outcome. It was a tricky job because the brick wall split in half and warped in different direction. Alan reused old bricks and repaired the wall very well.

Alan charges a fair rate and is very polite and professional. Tel. 07775573857

    • Anyone can deliver for Evri - my daughter having just passed her driving test tried Evri to make some money - they basically give you a route and as many parcels as they think you can cope with - you make money for each one you deliver, so you can imagine - speed is the priority. Why would they wait for you to answer the door when they can just throw it and take a photo? If you have a choice, choose a different courier service or shop elsewhere where they do.
    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
