zephyr
Jeremy Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Just get it fixed through your insurance - give> your insurer the number plate and they will chase> it up.Not quite as simple as that. We had an accident and even got the driver details but they were worthless as we did bit have his policy number - even though we shared the same insurers. The claim is still not settles since september because he never replied to the insurance company letters. He admitted at the time that it was his fault (did not give way at a junction) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/4666-are-you-the-person-who-hit-my-car-today-in-sainsburys-carpark/page/2/#findComment-151459 Share on other sites
dita-on-tees
My parents got hit in a supermarket carpark a couple of months ago, it was just a small bump. The driver just drove off. Stupidly for him, it was in front of CCTV, the supermarket had the tape. My parents got the police involved and they took it seriously as it was classified as leaving the scene of an accident. The attitude of the other person sucks, and if there was sufficient force to cause a scratch and you felt the impact then she must have known too. Tony.London Suburbs
Of course she knew.Even the slightest touch is magnified to make you think you have had a real bump when it turns out to be nothing, but it doesn't sound like that!
