Hopefully there are other rugby fans on here. Now share your pain over just how bloody awful England are at the moment and what, if anything, Jonno can do about it? All is forgiven Wilkinson.....come back soon.....???

As I've discussed with another forumite, one of the players that has to go (only 5 changes to the elite squad are allowed) is Sackey. The man's not international class. If only Strettle was fit. But who else in/out?

On the brightside, at least Wales gave the Aussies a beating.

Wales did bloody well! England are just plain embarrasing right now, but it's a sad state of affairs that we are all desperate for the most injusy prone player in the history of ANY sport (okay I can't back that up) to get fit again and back in the team!

I often think about starting to play again, it was the only sport I was ever actually quite good at, and I used to play a lot, but I am so unfit now, I wouldn't last 10 minutes!

The reasons I'd consider Wilko for no10 if he was fit (and stayed fit) is because, defensively, he's outstanding. One of the hardest tackling fly-halfs out there. Which is why he's injured so much. And obviously his set piece kicking is second to none.

But it could well be a backwards step. I wonder about playing him at 12 much like Henson for Wales. It would give Cipiani some defensive cover and allow us to have the world's best goal kicker still on the pitch. Plus Noon and Flutey are distinctly average at centre. But it's all moot. The man's out till after the 6 nations.

Armitage looks decent at full back. Otherwise the entire squad could be swapped.

And Keef, don't worry about being unfit, Matt Stevens gets to play for England and look at him.

    • Has it  been more  of an absolute shambles ever since the council took back management?
    • You miss the point entirely. The motivations of the the BBC's victims are irrelevant. You are advocating that their failure to be impartial is justified because you disagree politically with the people they are inaccurate about. This is the whole problem.  They don't make these "mistakes" with Starmer / the Greens / Davey because they agree with everything those people say.
    • So... you saw them then? In spite of them having no lights (and presumably being dressed in all black / coming out of nowhere / insert any other standard anti-cyclist trope here). I've long thought that the best way of being visible as a cyclist is to wear all black, have no lights and to ride on the pavement (or jump red lights). Not only does literally *everyone* see you, they pop onto the local forum to complain about you! On the other hand if you dress in all yellow and get T-boned, the driver will still manage to say "sorry mate, I didn't see you". 😉
    • Fine dude - you do you. I dont think you have the slightest interest in the BBC (whereas clearly HeadNun dos) other than its elimination.  If it made these mistakes against starmer/davey/greens whoever I doubt you would get as upset. It’s all very “bring a pen to Brexit referendum because they can rub out pencil  votes” (“but strafe!! Dave hasn’t said any of these things on here  and if you suggest he does elsewhere you have no proof!”  This is true! And yet here we are ) I’ll ask again. Why do you think lowe said foreigner and domestic.  Instead of just “criminals”?
