I'm hearing it more like P'kaam and Lw'shaam

The slightly sorrowful Pexmas markets pull the naming off I suppose, but they're given that X.

Sorrowful? I quite enjoyed the recent Pexmas "munch" thing. Although admittedly the "panel discussions" were a bit of a strange idea...

But I do enjoy model market.

I must be a hipster or something.

the Christmas market was pretty tragic - didn't make the munch thing. Much prefer that indoor market in the Bussey that's occasionally on.

When growing up we used to often say we were off to the coast. When asked, where? We would respond "Berm-On-Sea"

*sigh*

I hope this tradition is being carried on.

    • Seems to be back on now although pressure reduced especially for hot water via boiler. Hopefully I can have a shower in the morning.
    • It’s far too hot. Dogs should not be out and you’re right to post this.
    • Agree that you have to be so careful dogs in this heat… but please dont judge so quickly.  Its one thing if you see a dog at midday being thrown the ball endlessly, but if you see a dog en route / somewhere - You dont know if that dog was being walked to the vet for an emergency appointment.. or taken to a friend’s house that is cooler etc.  And if they live in a flat, they might desperately need to be taken out for a quick pee / poo !
    • I know,  absolutely crazy.  A dog has never died because it didn't have a walk, but dogs do die if walked in this heat. Perhaps the owners should put on a thick fur coat, take their shoes off and jog round the pavements, and see how that feels! 🤬
