Yesterday we were one of the only ones on our block on Lordship Lane estate to have no water. Thames water wouldn't claim responsibility as the ground floor properties had water so my landlord had to send out an emergency plumber who could find no fault in the flat. Then all my neighbours started to notice no water, it was then attributed to the burst main and we got our supply back at about 1pm. No water again now at least its only me at home today with one 2L bottle of water to survive on.

If you're the registered tenant and given your mobile number to the council, you should be receiving texts.

    • The 185 is often the same. But that's why buses sometimes (and annoyingly) stop to "regulate the service". To be fair, it's often due to traffic conditions. If there is not much traffic, the one behind catches up with the one in front.
    • I imagine this is because of the average  additional time involved, due to the styles. You could have asked the reason? I will ask, next time I'm in there.  Many salons have this differential pricing.
    • Maybe a humidifier, or bowl of water near her bed might help. Sometimes dry air can cause a sore throat
    • Daughter needs surgery very soon but is getting sore throat in mornings I’m wondering if an air purifier might work… anyone recommends any? Wondering if I could borrow or buy one cheaply somewhere?
