Unfortunately I have discovered foxes have taken up residence in my rather large garden shed, they got in through quite a big hole in the roof and because boxes are piled up quite high in there, they have been using them to nip in and out of the roof. I only just discovered them (2 I think) over the last few weeks. It appears as though they have been there a while because when I opened the shed door they sat over in the far corner on a pile of old soft toys staring at me and it looked like they'd built quite a den. Who do I call to have them removed? Do the RSPCA deal with the removal of animals of this nature or is it a pest control problem, I don't want them hurt or exterminated even though I now they are classed as vermin, I just want them removed, am hoping to pull the shed down and rebuild it and get rid of the cr@p in there in the spring. Many thanks in advance for any info.

Erm.... ok Keef ha!, got me a bit worried about your sanity there, then realised you were referring to another post! ha! Thought you were gonna say something along the lines of well nothing better than to let your ex see that you have let foxes move in on his turf, then remembered, I don't even have a signficant other half! ha!

Thanks for the advice anyways and for taking the time to answer XX

:))

Would you consider letting them stay till Spring? They breed up to Feb I think, but rest assured that foxes always have more than one den, so if you really want them out now, it's likely they will move on to another place they know...I would love to have foxes at the end of my garden!
Foxes are lovely creatures, but I have youngsters but believe me cleaning fox poop (because it is very distinctive smelling and runny) off of hands and faces when they fall into it is not a wonderous and joyous thing. I followed Keef's advice and got in touch with a local fox watch group from whom I purchased a product called "Scoot" which you mix with water and spray around and in the area they are staying. It makes them think that a bigger and badder fox has decided to move in on their territory and scent marked their dwelling and they move on and keep away from the area. Haven't gotten round do actioning yet but hope to do so soon.
Oh, is that why they make so much noise, I always thought they were fighting eachother or getting attacked by cats so would run out (or stick my head out of the window) and throw something at them or shooosh them very loudly, not knowing I've been interuppting their moonlight romantic trysts!

    • There was quite an old clip on BBC4 recently where they were introducing yoghurt to the British public. They called it a 'Balkan Dairy Preparation', which sounded to me more like something you'd ask to speak to the male member of staff about in the chemist in those days.
    • I haven't had any problems, except when the online  appointment system is full, but I have found if something is urgent they can fit you in if you phone. I think they probably keep a few spaces free for urgent last minute appointments, but I'm just guessing  I've found it quite convenient being able to email questions which previously I would have had to ask at an actual appointment, and I've always had a speedy reply. You can send photos as well. I don't know about forms and letters. That sounds bad. Have the admin staff changed recently?
    • Nearly a quarter of the way through the season. Week 9 points...   Week 9 table...
    • The yoghurt was very sharp (not sure of right word) and  if memory serves quite runny. Nothing like the stuff sold now. There was pink as well. Strawberry? That must have had sugar in? Too new fangled for us, but my Auntie Grace down the road used to get it 😂 Well, you had to keep up to date. Sorry, couldn't resist.
