recommendations for bathroom fitter

I have a small leak from a walk in shower. Its tiled on the floor and you can see there are some cracks in the tiles. I'm keen to get recommendations for people who would do this type of work (my guess is the old tiles would need taking up and new ones relayed) but I'm keen to get someone who knows what they are looking at and can recommend the best course of action to prevent a repeat

We have recently come to the end of having our bathroom done by a chap called Pawel who has a company called Sublime Property. He and his mate have been absolutely brilliant. It was meant to start out as just a re-tiling, but removal of the tiles showed that the previous fitters had been cowboys, so they have basically re-done the whole bathroom properly. They quoted me a fair price for the additional work and were here for close on 4 weeks doing a really meticulous job (and using some of our original fittings which a number of people who quoted for us refused to do). Also, they came back within the hour the day after completing the job when there was a small leak (which was because of a fault in the shower screen, not their workmanship). I would thoroughly recommend them, they have been prompt, polite, tidy and very hardworking.

Pawel's number is 07772555881 and he speaks excellent English.

    • Had a great experience with Paul. He sorted out a lighting issue we had very efficiently and I would highly recommend him! https://www.checkatrade.com/trades/edgleycontracting382245

    • A new roadmap (surely railmap?!) for rail accessibility has been published: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/accessible-railways-roadmap It says "approximately 56% of stations and around 66% of the 1.3 billion journeys that take place on the network have step-free access to platforms...  "£373 million has been committed over the next 5 years to deliver Access for All projects, providing step-free access from station entrances to and between platforms, alongside other essential accessibility upgrades. These works, together, will increase the number of step-free stations across Great Britain from 56% to 58%. "This improvement will make travel easier with step-free access available at stations covering an increased share of total rail journeys – from 66% up to 71%" Don't know what that means for us here: upgrading Peckham Rye would cover a lot of rail journeys but the cost has no doubt increased from the £40m figure previously quoted. So that would eat into a lot of the funding.
