It's not Dulwich or Peckham, but... Bistro Chez Lucie has opened opposite Gipsy Hill station. It looks like a very nice, classic, casual French bistro serving all the classics: moules, beef Bourguignon, cassoulet etc. Mains are £16-26.

Does anyone know what the new shop on Lordship lane is going to be please? - the one that was once a chinese restaruant and then an indian and has been a pop up gallery too - it has a sign that says 'chi' I think.  Its the one next to cheese block

There was a sign on the window a few weeks ago that said it will be a Chinese restaurant.

Great - feels like its gone full circle as it was originally chopsticks!

There is a small "yang" next to the chi.  Googling it seems that this can be either Korean fried chicken or an eastern physical therapy.  So who knows what we might be getting!?

I see that the old Panther Cars place on North Cross Road is finally being done up! Anyone know what's opening in it's place?

Again, not East Dulwich but near it: Lulu's is a little wine and beer bar in front of Herne Hill Station on Railton Rd, SE24. It looks busy and jolly, if you're into those kinds of things (which I'm not, obviously 😡).

There’s a licensing application for a wine shop /wine bar where Forest plant shop used to be, I think. Not sure whether they’ve started work / moved in yet?

Not ED, but Forza Wine (originally of Peckham and then Camberwell too) has just opened up another venue at the National Theatre on the Southbank, with a terrace overlooking the river. It's good to see a local business doing well. It also adds a £1 to the bill to raise money for the SE15 Solidarity Fund.

The Chinese takeaway next to Eric’s on Upland Rd has been revamped, or has closed and been taken over by another owner. Seating is being installed outside. A new restaurant, perhaps? Good luck, whatever it will be.

Had Clarke's as a kid, better than other brands and kept people employed at their Somerset factory.  Not sure why you are rejoicing over footwear made in a sweatshop in Asia.  Ok Lounge discussion....

There is a Malaysian pop-up, Janda Diner at the Man of Kent in Nunhead. Their stay has been extended for another month and then they are moving to a more permanent home in Peckham.

It’s going to be a cafe, serving bubble tea amongst other things.
