Donkey or Reindeer hire for Winter Fairs

I have been tasked with organising the Grotto at our school Winter Fair. I would absolutely love to have some animals there and just wondered if anyone has ever hired donkeys or reindeer for a similar event??

I looked into this once, might be worth contacting local city farms. We didn't pursue it in the end, the donkeys were frankly diva-ish and we couldn't meet all the demands on their riders :-)

Thanks. I have had a quote for sone reindeer - the hire charge would be more than the entire fair will raise!
