The first ever Peckham Fun Palace opens tomorrow,4th October. A whole weekend of family fun kicks off at 12 in Peckham Square by the library led by your local community choir Note-Orious. Come on down and help us get this party started.

  Many years ago we booked a restaurant in Beckenham and were asked to pay a deposit which would be deducted from our bill when we had dined. Happy to pay deposit at the Georgian place and the food is great.

  Aldi is at the shopping complex at Lower Sydenham (Bell Green) plenty of car parking. Also Pets at Home, Next, B &Q

  For any large party dining in an Italian restaurant a pizza option is always a good selling point, as is risotto, which cover the main carb bases. You have to be very high end just to concentrate on a single strand of a Italian cooking, and then probably genuinely regional. But certainly if you are more than a pizza joint making that blindingly obvious is sensible.
