Water being shut down

Husband just had a message from Thames water saying that our supply is about to go off. Not sure which roads will be affected but we're Underhill. Not sure if related to the shortages the other night?

Weirdly carpediem so are we. Have filled the kettle and pans though just in case...

So apparently, they are doing work after 5 due to employee working hours (so cannot do it now). They are hoping to do an infusion to bring in water from another part of the network, but cannot guarantee.

My note says between 9 am and 6 pm. I'm on Overhill but still have my water. They have two minutes!!

They have already infused the whole area, but when they shut off the valve pressure may drop. There will be houses on the junction of over hill and under hill where the leak is that will have no water. As it will drop pressure to 900 houses, they may do it in the early hours of the morning to minimise disruption. Also, there is a car on where the leak is haha......
